Why are two of my LEDs out?
ANSWER: They aren't. Those are infrared LEDs, which produce a light wave we cannot see. The Perfect Sun 1000 and the Goliath have two of them. The other lights have one IR LED. The UV lights also have a dimmer almost violet color to them. The larger lights have two UV LED's and the smaller ones have one UV LED.
How close can I get your light to my plants?
ANSWER: Please view the hanging heights.
Why are my leaves at the top twisting and looking very light in color?
ANSWER: This happens when you have the light too close to your plants. The Perfect Sun spectrum is the most efficient spectrum on the market. You cannot use the typical HPS hand test, by placing your hand under the light to see if it's hot.
Perfect Sun LEDs will not feel hot to the skin, but because of their intense light, will still burn your plants if they are too close. Stick to the recommended heights.
Can I switch my plants from HID (MH and HPS) or fluorescent lights to Perfect Sun LEDS?
ANSWER: Yes, but because the Perfect Sun spectrum is so intense, like the sun, you need to let the plants adjust to the new intense spectrum. Be sure to leave them 2.5 feet away from your plants for about 4 days, then slowly lower the light to the recommended height. See the "best height" link at the top of this site.
